People in Hollywood are weird

So, i had been wanting to see Wicked for a REEEEEAAAALLY long time. The entire time that i have lived in the LA area, Wicked has been available for my viewing pleasure. unfortunately, i am a cheapskate and a procrastinator also. Long story short, Cameron and I planned to go on a Christmas date rather than spend a ton of money on gifts to eachother. we planned to see the show on Tuesday January 6th. it was the ONLY day we had available to see it. oh, did i mention that the show was ending FOREVER that Sunday? it was now or never.
so here we are at the show. we didn't have physical tickets, because we wanted to see if we could get them for cheap. turns out that the only tickets for sale were $200 a piece. no thanks. so we entered into the raffle. one could win 2 front row tickets for $25 each. worth a shot. it also turned out that there were more people there that night than ever before. our chances...not so good. there were also some really "interesting" people waiting in line to see the show. (notice how i put interesting in quotes. "interesting"...read: WEIRD!) anywho...this lady in front of us had seen the show OVER 60 TIMES! can you imagine what i could do with $50 times 60 shows?! i could buy a LOT of clothes with that money! she said the show "changed her life." hmmm...draw your own conclusion on that one.
so...we didn't win the tickets, but two people who we talked to that night did...and they both had seen the show before. i think we were the ones who gave them good luck. so, instead, we walked around until we found a place to eat at and then we went to pinkberry...and were in bed by 10:30. oh, and we saw Frank Sinatra's star, and cameron was overjoyed.
